Preconditions
To use the Liquiline Assist App you need to have the Addon "Liquiline Assist" on your NSP Subscription.

Hierarchy levels
A Plant can have several measurement points, which are displayed as different tiles below the plant in the dashboard. A measurement point can have different channels which correspond to the sensors connected to the measurement point and the transmitter itself. For each channel, the primary measurement value and the health value (if Heartbeat Technology is activated) are displayed on the tile. By clicking on the grey dots below the channel, another channel of this measurement point is displayed with its measurement and health values.
All asset levels have the following four color-coded states:
- Good: green color
- Warning/Uncertain: yellow color
- Alarm/Bad: red color
- Unknown: grey color
The states of the measurement value and health value influence the state of the hierarchy levels above.
Setting the Warning and Alarm Thresholds
Navigate to Configurations and select the Measurement point for which the thresholds should be activated. Click on Edit, then select the checkbox in the Health column for each channel (example: first line, pH measurement) or device (example: second line, transmitter), for which the surveillance should be activated. The settings can be adopted accordingly.
States and color coding
Status behavior of the Health value:
The Heartbeat Technology health value of the measurement channel or device has the following color-coded states which are visualized by the color of the letters:
- Good: green color, when the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Health value is above the highest threshold (1st warning limit or Warning limit)
- Warning: yellow color, when the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Health value is between the highest threshold (1st warning limit or Warning limit) and lowest threshold (2nd warning limit or Alarm limit)
- Alarm: red color, when the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Health value is below the lowest threshold (2nd warning limit or Alarm limit)
- Unknown: grey color, when the Health thresholds are not activated or the Health value is unknown because Heartbeat Technology is not activated in the transmitter
Status behavior of the Measurement value:
The measurement value (primary value of the measurement channel) has the following color-coded states which are visualized by the color of the dot in front of the value:
- Good: green color, when the Measurement value status is good
- Uncertain: yellow color, when the Measurement value status is uncertain
- Bad: red color, when the Measurement value status is bad
- Unknown: grey color, when the Value is unknown e.g., a transmitter device has no measurement value
Status behavior of the Channel:
The Channel (Sensor channel or Device) has the following color-coded states which are visualized by the color of the channel dot:
- Good: green color
- If the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Measurement value is known: Measurement value status is good and Health value is above the highest threshold (1st warning limit or Warning limit)
- If the Health thresholds are not activated and the Measurement value is known: Measurement value status is good
- If the Health thresholds are set and activated and Measurement value is unknown: Health value is above the highest threshold (1st warning limit or Warning limit)
- Warning: yellow color
- If the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Measurement value is known: Measurement value status is uncertain or Health value is between the highest threshold (1st warning limit or Warning limit) and lowest threshold (2nd warning limit or Alarm limit)
- If the Health thresholds are not activated and the Measurement value is known: Measurement value status is uncertain
- If the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Measurement value is unknown: Health value is between the highest threshold (1st warning limit or Warning limit) and lowest threshold (2nd warning limit or Alarm limit)
- Alarm: red color
- If the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Measurement value is known: Measurement value status is bad or Health value is below the lowest threshold (2nd warning limit or Alarm limit)
- If the Health thresholds are not activated and the Measurement value is known: Measurement value status is bad
- If the Health thresholds are set and activated and the Measurement value is unknown: Health value is below the lowest threshold (2nd warning limit or Alarm limit)
- Unknown: grey color, when Measurement value and Health value are unknown
Status behavior of the Measurement point:
The Measurement point (Measurement device with their sensors) has the following color-coded states which are visualized by the color of the Measurement point symbol:
- Good: green color, when the status of at least one Channel is good (green color) and no Channel is Warning (yellow color) or Alarm (Red color)
- Warning: yellow color, when the status of at least one Channel is Warning (yellow color) and no Channel is Alarm (red color)
- Alarm: red color, when the status of at least one Channel is Alarm (red color)
- Unknown: grey color, when all Channels are Unknown (grey color)
Status behavior of the Plant:
The Plant (group of Measurement points) has the following color-coded states which are visualized by the color of the plant tile title:
- Good: green color, when the status of at least one Measurement point is good (green color), and no Measurement point is Warning (yellow color) or Alarm (red color)
- Warning: yellow color, when the status of at least one Measurement point is Warning (yellow color), and no Measurement point is Alarm (red color)
- Alarm: red color, when the status of all at least one Measurement point is Alarm (red color)
- Unknown: grey color, when all Measurement points are Unknown (grey color)
