The tenant is an important concept within the Netilion ecosystem. Usually, a user working on his own won't necessarily notice the existence of a tenant. However, when working collaboratively with other Netilion users in data collection scenarios, sharing the same set of Master Data (e.g. Companies and Products) is crucial. For these use-cases, this guide will show you the steps to create & share tenants in Netilion.

Step 1: Find the "Profile" App

Once logged-in, press the following buttons:

Step 2: Select "Administration" tab

Step 3: Select "Tenants" menu item

Step 4: Press "Create" and create Tenant

Step 5: Assign Members and Administrators

Please note that "Members" will be able to use all data objects (e.g. companies, products) within the tenant, whereas "Administrators" will be able to do exactly that, plus edit that data and add other users to the tenant.

The User which created the tenant is automatically assigned as an "Administrator".
