User Groups are an easy way to organize your plant by sharing your assets with one or more colleagues and manage permissions. A User Group can be created for e.g managing different production areas and for managing various assets or single tags within the production areas.
You will have many benefits when using User Groups, such as:
- Significant savings in time spent managing access rights
- Increased security due to fewer errors in the management of access rights
For an explanation of the meaning of each of the four permissions that are available, please see this related article.
This related article will further explain why permissions are an essential part of collaborating with other users and user groups.
Setting-up User Groups
